And It All Comes Down To This

Well Leaf fans, tonight is the last game of the regular season and the biggest game of this season for our beloved Maple Leafs. Most news outlets are calling this the biggest game in Leafs and Habs history in the past 5 years. A lot of heat from the Toronto media is going towards those highly paid Leafs players who have remained without a goal in a long time, other media sources are citing the game as a battle of goaltenders ,as each team has been lacking in defensive and offensive play. Whatever they call it, this game will be huge for those in Leafs Nation and Habs Country. Yesterday, on Leafs Lunch, Jeff Marek and Bill Waters asked Leafs head coach Paul Maurice about any potential line-up changes. Maurice responded that the line up should remain the same as on Thursday, however he remained mum on the possible replacement of Yanic Perrault with either Travis Green or Jeff O'Neill when that question was asked by Watters. Regardless of who replaces who, the big guns; Sundin, McCabe, Kaberle, Tucker and Kubina all must play tonight in respect of the money they are earning.

My prediction - Leafs 3, Habs 2 with the winning goal coming late in the 3rd.
